Studies have shown the average adult has a maximum attention span of 20 minutes. Time is precious and we have found that maximum results come when working as close to 100% intensity as possible. 100% all the time is impossible but we aim above 85% at least in each session. This all means quality over quantity which is why more isn't always better (in this case it's actually worse because under 85% intensity won't force a neurological change, it will only cause a physical change. This means it may change your body but it won't make you stronger. So if you stop the training you will lose the body's results but you won't lose your strength, which is neurological... think muscle memory).
